Why rent an eco friendly portable toilet?

What Makes a Portable Restroom "Green?"

Generally speaking, portable toilets use quite a number of chemicals. Instead of using chemical deodorizers in our tanks we use an earth friendly deodorizer. With a green portable toilet service, the chemicals used will be free of formaldehyde, alcohol, and will be nontoxic. In the same vein, the cleansers and solvents used to clean the toilets can be rather harsh- for you, our employees, and the environment. Jimmy’s Johnnys Inc. works hard to find alternatives that are biodegradable and nontoxic. Aerosols, Butyl, and Glycol are avoided. We strive to only use cleaners that were plant-based, only paper that was recycled, and only products not tested on animals, period.

The waste from portable toilets should also be considered. We use chlorine free paper products, which are made from recycled materials (with 80% post-consumer content, and that’s good). Both the paper products and the water used in flushable stalls can be conserved through dispensing systems. All gray water and black water from sinks, restroom trailers, and portable restrooms are treated and recycled at a certified waste treatment center.

Our consumption of fuel and energy is closely monitored to assure that it is not wasted through inefficiency or carelessness. All of our service trucks use small 4 cylinder diesel engines (industry average is large 8 cylinder engines) that are very fuel efficient. When available we use a bio diesel blend. Our proprietary computer system automatically routes all of our services calls to the shortest possible route.
